On Day 7 since it was our last full day we decided to spend it back at the Magic Kingdom very early and stay till our dinner reservations. We had early-8:05-breakfast at Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and Friends. I have been going here since I was little for breakfast and we go every single time we are at Disney. It is a yummy breakfast and we love the characters. They do a fun parade also with the kids. We always go early and try to beat everyone at the parks to be the first to get on rides. Since we had not done Dumbo yet we all headed to Fantasy Land where they hadn't officially opened yet. We were the first to get on Dumbo and we loved it. We walked on almost every ride in Fantasy Land the first 30 minutes they were there. My parents were with us for all of this and most the time Katie rode with Charley, My mom and
Kylee rode together, and my dad and I got to ride together. It was really great! We were a riding machine. We hit so many rides in the first couple hours. At the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor you can text a joke in and the joke Kylee and Katie sent in was told by one of the monsters in the show and they said their names. Smiles were priceless by both girls! Katie also got to go to Minnie's House which was her choice of the day. It was great and very uncrowded. We met up with our friends the Thomas for Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. Katie didn't want to ride Splash Mountain so she and Kennedy played in a play area by Splash Mountain and had a blast. We then met up with my parents for some more rides and lunch. We then set up for the Celebrate A Dream Parade. This was the most uncrowded parade of the week and quite nice at that. The parade was cute! After the parade we met up with some friends that we knew when we first moved to
DFW 13 years ago and are family with some of our best friends here in TX. They happened to be at Disney and didn't want to miss a visit with them. We met them at Buzz
Lightyear and then rode
Astro Orbitor with them. We had a wait at Astor
Orbitor and we got to visit and our kiddos got to play around in line. They hit it off like they had been friends forever. It was so sweet to watch and so much fun! We then had to head back to our hotel because we had dinner reservations at our hotel. We had also promised our kids they could swim that day. The pools are heated but this was the first day it was miserably cold. They had 30 minutes to swim and had a blast! We had dinner at the Whispering Canyon. It was a fun place to eat with a ton of food but I was so tired and not too hungry that evening. The kids also play with Lincoln Logs and go on pony races. If you go there be sure to ask for ketchup and a refill on your drink. I packed up that evening to go home because we wanted to go Magic Kingdom for a last time!
