Disney Day 4

On Day 4 we spent most the day at Hollywood Studios. It was a very cold day. The day started with temps in the 30's with wind! Yep! COLD! Jackets and hats worn most of day. We got there right at 9 and walked as fast as we could to Toy Story Mania! When we got to the ride area there was already a long line to ride the ride and the fast pass line was so long. We got a fast pass for 12:30. We left and went to ride Tower of Terror. This is the ride Katie had waited to ride for months and talked about it. When we got there she was still excited until you enter into this room and the lights go out and it gets creepy. The fear started to creep in. Then as soon as we got in the car to ride it she seemed fine but then once you start to drop the tears and fear were there. She was very shook up after it and we felt quite bad for her. So proud she even tried it though. There was no line for it so Kylee and I went again and walked right on and LOVED it!! Then Kylee and Charley rode Rock n Roller Coaster and Katie and I went and watched Ariel which is more her speed. It was fun and Kylee loved Rock n Roller Coaster. She is definitely the roller coaster fast ride child at our house. We decided to have an early lunch since we had 12:30 Toy Story Fast Pass and early dinner reservations. My parents were also en route to Hollywood Studios (another take it slow day for them:)). We ate at Toy Story Pizza Planet. The food was pizza and subs pretty decent quick service UNTIL the Bird attacked me and my food! Seriously this bird swooped out of the ceiling hit my shoulder stood on my food and grabbed some lettuce and flew away. I was pretty shocked, scared, laughing, etc. I didn't eat the rest of my food. Then that same bird made a return to my food! UUGGHH!! The girls and Charley thought it was hysterical! We then made our way to Toy Story Mania! It was 12:30 and the fast passes were already gone for the day and the wait for the ride was 70 minutes. That ride is so popular. This was all our first time to go on the ride and we were thinking this better be great and it was. It was so fun. Disney is brilliant and this was fabulous. We couldn't wait to go again. We got to ride in Jesses car which Kylee loved because a lot of her friends in TX had been in a musical and were dressed like Jesse that same weekend. Charley was very competitive and wanted to beat all the records. He did have the best for his car:) We saw the Disney Channel Rocks stage show (which is just a show with songs from popular Disney channel shows) and Kylee went out and danced with them. After that we met up with my parents and went to see American Idol Experience. We are big American Idol fans and the girls love it too so this was super fun for us all. The person we picked didn't win but it was still fun. Charley, Kylee, and I went to ride Tower of Terror again with my dad (Kylee also got her frozen Lemonade which she had talked about since the last time we were at Disney as her favorite snack) while Grandma and Katie went to Ariel and did a little shopping. We then set up and got our spots for the Block Party Parade. We also got our Mickey Mouse Ears ice cream. The people that work there were making fun of us getting them because it was so cold. They are so good though so we couldn't resist. The Block Party Parade was great. The best parade in my opinion. Kylee again got out and danced with them but Katie wouldn't which really surprised me but Kylee had a ball. After the parade we shopped a little and headed out to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey's dinner.

We always eat at Chef Mickey's when we go to Disney. It is not only a very fun place for a character meal but also in my favorite hotel on Disney Property, The Contemporary. The characters we saw were Chef Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy. The girls loved them and I loved how Katie wanted to give them all a big hug. They also put Mickey Mouse songs and do a little dance around while you swing your napkins above your head. We love this character meal for the fun. Our opinion on the food-so so- not the best but not the worst. We will keep going for the fun and enjoy that and just know the food is good not great. Again, my opinion. After we got done eating we decided to take the monorail over to the Grand Floridian and go see the Gingerbread house and decorations. I was glad we did it but honestly the Gingerbread house at the Gaylord Texan was neater than this one so I was a tad disappointed but I did enjoy riding the monorail:) We got back to our hotel early enough for the girls to go to the arcade with Charley. They wore the PJ's grandma bought them that day and ended up taking a super cute picture by the tree in the resort that ended up on our Christmas card:) They loved the arcade and I loved the picture.
