Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve day hanging out at home, wrapping presents, and playing Wii. It was fun and our night was full and fun too. We went to our church for the Christmas Eve candlelight service. It was so nice. Our preacher brought the kids up and read them a story, The Crippled Lamb, and then we sang, and had the candlelight part. It was breathtaking how pretty our auditorium looked just lit up by candlelight and all the people worshipping our Lord and Savior on his birthday! After church we went to eat with my parents at BJ's and had a yummy meal together. Then we went home to open our Christmas Eve gifts which are the presents we get each other. The girls were mostly excited about their gifts except for Miss Katie who had a moment because she wanted a stuffed Scooby Doo (who knew??) . After having a serious talk with Charley she cheered up and we continued. The girls got ready for bed and we read Twas the Night Before Christmas and Kylee read the story of Jesus to us (loved it). Then we got our cookies for Santa and letters for him ready to go. Kylee wrote Katie's letter for her this year. We laughed because there were things on the list that they had never mentioned to us at all so we explained Santa wouldn't either:)!! We ran outside for a quick reindeer food throwing around and went in and to bed. They actually fell asleep really quick. It was a busy fun day!
