Kylee's Baptism

The most important decision of Kylee's life happened on June 5, 2011. She was baptized and gave her life fully to the Lord! She was very ready!! Charley spent off and on for about a year studying with her and all she could tell us was this was what she wanted, her decision and she knew what it meant. She came to us a couple weeks prior to the baptism with a sweet letter she wrote to God about why she wanted to get baptized. I cried, Charley cried! We are so proud of her decision and the decision to get baptized and have a life with the Lord. So the day came and she was excited and never seemed nervous. All our friends and family were there to celebrate this HUGE moment in her life. She had prerecorded a video about why she was making the decision to get baptized that played before her baptism. Then it was the time to witness the baptism. Charley was so sweet with Kylee, he was very emotional and sincere in his words to her. The stage was completely full of people that love Kylee and will be part of her journey with the Lord. We love them all very much. Kylee was baptized and had very sweet hugs from tons and tons of family and friends. This was a wonderful day and we are very proud of Kylee and can't wait to see what God has in store for her!
