Awards

Last Friday we attended another Granger Wrangle Roundup. It is an awards/recognition/praise the kids time. They always recognize kids with Perfect Attendance, Good Citizenship, and Straight A's. Then they give PE, Music, Art Awards. Kylee got to stand up for Good Citizenship and Straight A's. We are very proud of her. She also got the Kid With Character Granger Wrangler award for her class for this 6 weeks. We were so proud of her. She truly works so hard to be the best she can be! Her teacher wrote the following and it was read at the assembly:
Kylee is my Granger Wrangler because she exemplifies the meaning of character, respect, and citizenship. Every day she strives for excellence-she is a dedicated student and a wonderful classmate. Kylee has a kind and gentle spirit and is always willing and wanting to help others in need. I am so lucky to have Kylee in my class. Kylee you are one amazing Wrangler!

She also got recognized for her Reflections Writing! She wrote a story about the theme Together We Can. She won First Place in Primary Literature and qualified for District Competition. I also found out that she won 3rd place overall for the whole school. She worked very hard on her story and was very proud of it. The title was Camping Together and it was a fictional story about 4 girls named Ava, Bailey, Anna, and Rachel that go camping together and all the ways they work together to make their trip better. There were some funny parts in it and it was 3 pages long.
Kylee really does have a true love for school and would love it if we let her be involved in EVERYTHING!!! She thinks it is all great and fun!
