Today our precious first born turned 7. How is it possible that the little baby who cried all the time is now 7 and only cries a little:) Really she is just sweet and a pure joy to have as a daughter and I feel blessed that the Lord has entrusted us with her. She is still as smiley as ever and has a great personality. She is sensitive to other peoples feelings and tries real hard to do her best in all things. A month ago she earned her second time to eat with her teacher. When they do this they get to have a friend join them. The first time she asked her friend
Madilyn to eat with her and then the second time came around. She talked to Charley and I about who to ask. She said she really wanted to ask Anna but didn't want to hurt
Madilyn's feelings. We told her pray about it and she would know what to do. Well, she came home and said I decided it would be a good idea to talk to
Madilyn about it and tell her my thoughts and see what she thought. She said
Madilyn understood and I am not upset about it at all. Wow! I was so proud of
Kylee for going to her friend and talking it out and not fussing or fretting over it. This is just one of the things
Kylee did that shows she is growing up and I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming. She is constantly thinking about ways to give or do things for other people. Some are outrageous and others we really want to help her out with. She is great with Katie and loves all Katie's little friends and is sweet to them also, always including them. She is an avid reader. Really saying she loves to read doesn't even describe it. She loves Rainbow Fairy books right now, mainly because there was one with the fairy being named Kylie. She loves her extended family with her whole heart. Her friends are what make life exciting for her. She would have someone over every day if I would allow it. She loves to go to gymnastics and sing. She got an
ipod shuffle for her birthday and sings all the time. She still will choose a sit down
restaurant over a fast food, preferably Cheddars. She has a major sweet tooth, almost to a fault! She loves chocolate and ice cream. Her favorite food is roast and she can not stand mashed potatoes or really any
potato.
She is such a joy to Charley, Katie, and her momma! Her heart bubbles over with love and joy. We pray everyday that she grows to love the Lord more and more and follow his will for her. On the night before her birthday we always tell the birth story of the day they were born and we always remind her of the verse that was on her birth announcement from Jeremiah that talks about The plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to give you a hope and a future. That is not every word but that is the hope we have for her to follow the Lord and his will for her.
We love you
Kylee and are proud to be your mommy and daddy. Happy Birthday!!
