Friday in AR/Spring Sing

This Easter weekend we decided to head to AR to visit Charley's family and take the girls to Spring Sing at Harding. Yes, we are getting them interested in Harding early on but we will pray that when it comes time for college they will go where the Lord wants them to. We got them out of school early on Thursday and made our way to AR. On Friday morning it was beautiful and we spend the majority of the day outside. The girls hunted eggs, went on walks, ran around, went to the park, played all sorts of cards, colored eggs, and had fun with our 2nd cousins. It was a great day. Then on Saturday we went to Searcy and drove around looking at sights and then went to Harding. We ate in the student center. It is so nice now. Then we went for a walk on the lawn, sat in swings, visited my first college dorm, and hung at the lily pond. I ran into my uncle and had a nice chat and several friends from here in town while at Harding. Then we went to Spring Sing. Kylee loved it and sat and watched the entire time. Katie slept through the first half and then was a little cranky but perked up to finish it out. Kylee still talks about liking it. It was so surreal to be back at Harding married with two kids and showing them the sights. I loved it and thanked God for the life he has blessed me with. When we got back to Newport, we went straight to dinner celebrating Charley's Papaws birthday. Then we headed home to get ready for the Easter Bunny and go to bed. It was a great day!
