Pumpkin Patch 2010
We made our annual trip and possibly last trip to the pumpkin patch this year. The girls had fun and loved it. Kylee was meeting her girl scout troop us there so we went a little early and took pics and did all the bounce stuff and hay maze (big mistake for my very allergy prone child). We ran into friends while we were there and the girls loved that. Then we went on a hay ride with girl scout friends and got a pumpkin. Then Kylee's allergies really started acting up, red itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, then the wheezing began and coughing. We quickly got off the hayride and headed straight to the car. By the time we got to the car Kylee was having a hard time breathing so we had to use her rescue inhaler (for the very first time) and by the time we got home she was much better. She went straight to the shower and rinsed all the yuck off. While it began fun we learned that with Kylee's allergies the mold in hay is just too much for her to handle and at the pumpkin patches they are filled with hay and dust that just hurt her too much! Glad we went and did it but we will really have to think about ever going again.
